Second, there was awful communication about plant care (watering) requirements until I called to tell them the plants were dying. Next, they mulched right up to the stems, which even novice gardeners know is a no-no. Call several times to set up an appointment kept going into the machine when I finally got through…read morethe clerk was in such a rush she just asked me my number and gave me first availability appointment( a month out. )My window was 1 to 5 I took vacation time that day -finally at 3:30 when they weren't there yet I thought I better call )good thing -she got the service guy on the phone and he said I was there at 8 AM that's what my order said. they said. So not only was the clerk in such a rush that she didn't want to ask what my issue was and assumed it was just a start up but she wrote the wrong time on the work order and not to mention I called the day before to confirm the 1 to 5 appointment the employee erroneously gave 8 to 12 instead of 1 to 5. When the service man came he said good thing you called the office because I was on my last run and I was not going to come back here I came at 8 AM where do I go to turn on your system I said this is not for a turn on it's an issue with the valve so not only did they have the wrong time but she just assumed it was for a start upBecause she was in such a rush she didn't want to ask what it was for Not to mention my lawn would've been burnt if I was just starting it up in June. Later that day I got a bill for a System turn on. They are very quick to bill but not very quick to answer the phones to service their customers. Thinking I got charged for the wrong thing I called. Told the woman that I almost missed the appointment and this happened the last time that I called for service they came at the wrong time I have to work and I have to schedule my time off just very Rushed and unorganized. To think you have to wait a month when half your lawn would be burnt for a five minute task I think they have taking on more than they can chew. I asked to speak to the manager and again he was too busy

I flagged them down, the workers were so kind, let me use their phone, even offered their own water for the dogs. Unable to contact a ride, ultimately what happened was the owner of the company, Ken Garulay, gave my two frightened, exhausted goldens and myself a ride to our home himself. Ken and this team of workers were so sensitive and really helped us out in our time of need and seeing how caring these people are I would use their landscaping business in a heartbeat.

After the tornado in july, these guys did show up to take the tops off of a couple precarious trees but they didn't come back for 2 MONTHS to take the rest down and then they never ground the stumps that they were asked to do. 2 more months later and we had to go with someone else. We kept trying to get them to come back to clean/finish up one particular area and well, they were useless and difficult to deal with. The owner is rude and and acts like a bully. Not to mention the first time these guys came, their machinery knocked down the power line that goes directly to my house. Just dont bother. They are not worth the hassle. I will continue to spread the bad word on these guys in hopes that no one ever has a similar experience. You should NEVER yell at your customer, guy. Never.
