A few years ago the Howwood Inn was a place for the young folk of the area to hang out and get drunk and it wasn't too appealing. In recent years however it has changed management and some great changes have taken place. It is well decorated and attracts a more mature clientele. The one negative I would comment on is that the last time I was there they didn't do a kids' menu. The waitress was extremely helpful and offered to have a kiddie dish cooked but I think it would be a good thing to have a seperate menu. read more
