It's all about the location with this course. It's situated right on the coast of Musick Point which makes for some incredible scenery, especially when playing the back 9. There is one disadvantage of the spectacular sea views though; it gets windy as hell. This in turn makes an already poor golf game even worse. But it's hard to complain with scenery this good.
The actual course itself isn't too bad, but some of the unkempt greens and fairways let it down slightly. Also make sure you avoid playing at this course after a heavy downpour because it doesn't drain all that well. We made this mistake once, and by the end of the day our shoes and pants were soaking wet and covered in mud, not to mention our gear as well.
Note: Most golf courses operate from first light until last. This changes on the time of year of course, but generally the opening hours are around 7am - 5pm. read more
