PLEASE READ... IMPORTANT They are dishonest. My wife is terrified of dentists. We met with Dr. Strouse. We were informed that they would give her a drink to calm her down, she was supposed to receive an intravenous sedative to knock her our for the surgery. They DID NOT Don't Trust what they say, they sell a good story, but they lie and really do not care about the patient. They strapped her arms down and put her into a twilight. she was awake and felt the entire procedure, needles and the extraction. She was completely traumatized. she even said she wasn't numb enough, but they continued. I was not allowed back with her, I would have stopped them from proceeding. It is too late now..... No patience with kids. Was told that parents could not be there for a tooth extraction of my 9 year old. So that meant that not being there my kid was anxious. We had told them that it would take longer than normal for the anesthesia to work from past experience but instead of waiting they tried to go ahead and then gave up before it could take effect. Then kicked my kid out of the office. By this point the medicine was in full effect and I had to carry my kid to the car. Absolutely a horrible and unethical experience. Go somewhere else! PATIENT BEWARE. I didn't even want to give him one star. At initial visit, I was charged, out of pocket almost $3,000 for the extraction of two teeth. This amount was to cover "all treatments." 5 months later, I get another bill from him for $2,600. During the procedure, he had cauterizedva root, requiring no additional staff, change of room, additional time. He also billed my insurance, making the grand total over $7,000 for the removal of two teeth. His office staff is nasty, as well. Too late, I found out he had butchered my friendo's procedure and another friend said he is known for these unethical billing practices. Wish I had known! read more
