This requires a response .. without any prevous contacts, I reached Anthony at Houston Butcher Block to talk about a project I wanted to do involving countertops .. he not only spent thirty minutes talking with me about the plans, but it was clear there might be another option which involved him losing business .. and yet, without any hesitancy, he steered me towards one of his suppliers to provide the wood that I was looking for and still get the same results .. this showed me that this was a man with great character and a store that I truly would like to do business with in the future .. as far as i'm concerned, this showed me clearly, this was a business I wanted to be involved with .. their products are outstanding and their customer service couldn't be any better .. part of the problem in working with these types of projects is you always have issues, and because of that you want a business to be able to communicate well with you .. repeatedly.
