Mark was recommended by our realtor, which I knew meant we risked not having a completely…read moreindependent opinion. But he was the only one able to do it within the week and reviews were good. He was nice to work with and gave us a professional report. Allowed us to FaceTime him after inspection since we lived out of state. It was six months later that I learned I should have trusted my gut initially. Our six year old house has a roof with such damage and so many ineffective repairs that we are now having to spend at least eleven thousand dollars replacing it. We have had four experts to date on the roof and they all agree on the cause of the problems. Two of them said specifically that in their opinion there is no way our roof should have passed a home inspection. I can't say we wouldn't have bought the house bc I don't know. But had it been disclosed by seller or the person we paid to help protect us from these type of unpleasant surprises, we certainly it would have adjusted the offer accordingly. We aren't talking a few hundred dollars. Eleven thousand dollars so far, and that's not even the repainting the brand new ceiling paint job or replacing sheet rock from the 16 leaks! I'm sure mark is a nice man. But for the life of me I can't imagine why he wouldn't have told us this or better yet, put that on a report. I am trying not to believe it would have been for something dishonest like trying to appease a realtor feeding him business. I just don't want this to happen to someone else. I have also spoken to him about this in the hope that next time he be explicit on such large ticket items.

Mark's inspection was very thorough. He is very knowledgeable and personable to work with.read more
