I asked how he'd like me to pay and I received this reply: "Sorry mate sold this morning l didn't hear anymore from you" This was after he had agreed to the deal with me the previous day. At the very least he could have contacted me, but no, he just reneged without saying a thing in order to make a quick buck before I had the chance to complete my payment (which I was ready to do but he hadn't provided any details). Overall, this is the most disturbing and disappointing outcome of any serious retail engagement I have ever experienced. I never expected such poor behaviour. I must say that due to the complete loss of trust I am now deeply doubtful about the quality of the piece. I may have had a nasty surprise if the sale and delivery had gone through.
