I became disappointed and confused. How could all those other reviews be so good and yelp in this case bad. So let me set the record straight. When I got to the office, they were ready to process all my paperwork and I was out in less then two minutes. That is unbelievable. The gate was also the registration which was a good idea. I paid a bit more for the Elite spot. When I say it I was a bit disappointed. Nothing elite about it. So I got set up and took my electric scooter to the pool. BINGO, the pool was large, quiet and awesome. Then I went to the hot tub. It was better then the pool. As I was in the hot tub, I turned around and their was a large lovely lake. I totally get the Elite status now. This place is great, I recommend it and hope to come again. My only negative is very few shade trees on my spot. That is why it is not a 5 star. Just my two cents.

All of the lots are deeded and owned by the residents. There is no rental office. You can reach out to the lot owners directly that are renting their spots. We stayed on lot 135, it was super clean and featured a large shed and oversized gazebo. The landscaping was very nice. Our lot rental included water, sewer, cable and wifi. The property owner was super accommodating and did everything to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. The residents at Citrus Valley make this place very special. Everyone we met was really friendly. We were sorry to leave and we are already thinking about when we would like to return on our next trip to the Orlando area. (The MAYOR Rob along with Tammy, Sam, and Cori helped us tremendously.) After arriving, the kids played in the pool, we ate dinner, and were getting everyone settled for bed when we discovered the camper we rented through RVshare was completely full of ants. We immediately panicked because it was late, we had kids with us, and we really didn't want to pack up and drive back home after already starting our weekend. That's when MAYOR Rob came to the rescue. He radioed in, and Tammy and Sam quickly showed up with a key to a cabin they had available. They helped us move our things, get everyone situated, and completely saved our Memorial Day weekend. It's rare to find people who genuinely care the way this team did. Their kindness, quick action, and willingness to help meant more to our family than they probably realize. We are beyond thankful and truly appreciative for everything they did for us. We had our own little tiki bar, brought our own beers, played games, and drank the night away until 9 or maybe 10 PM. WHOA somebody stop us. The first day was gorgeous and the second day was cloudy. It never actually stormed at the park but apparently weather was detected farther away, so they closed the tiki bar and canceled the music. I get canceling the music for safety reasons, but WHY ARE WE CLOSING THE BAR?!? The storm wasn't even here! Let the people drink their beers in peace! The main pool with the slide was a little too much for me. Way too many people and kids for my liking. The License to Chill pool was nice, but that was crowded too. Apparently, everybody and their entire extended family decided to come swimming that weekend. I did love that they had a mini donut truck come through because fresh mini donuts are always a good decision. And riding my bike around the grounds was one of my favorite parts of the trip. We also rented a golf cart, which made getting around super easy. Plus, let's be real, driving around in a golf cart is fun as hell. Overall, I loved our campsite and had a great time hanging out with friends, but I feel like the resort experience itself could have been better. Between the crowded pools and shutting down the tiki bar and entertainment over weather that never actually hit the park, it was a little disappointing. Would I come back? Maybe! But next time, I'm hoping for better weather, fewer people at the pools, and a tiki bar that doesn't get grounded for a storm that's nowhere to be found.

We were told we had to leave even though we had a confirmation email from them for that site. We were still in the process of finding a new RV Resort (I was literally still on the phone calling around) when it hit 6:00 so they closed the office and left. They had no idea if we even found a place to go. They parked the new people right outside our site to get us to get out faster. They did not care that their error (system or not) displaced us. They did not even attempt to make it right.
