I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. To start with, the rooms are NOTHING like they picture…read moreon the website. I understand that there will always be variations in furniture in the room, but this was a bit beyond what one would expect. They need to learn the difference between "antique" furniture and just plain old furniture. (I will admit that we did stay in the cheapest room but at 156 euro a night I expected more)
However, the location was beautiful. High on the hill-a bit difficult to get to-but wonderful. You can have a complimentary breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city and the mountains. The pool has a similar location and there is a small outdoor seating area where you can sun yourself and enjoy the view! There is also a sauna, but we were unable to keep it working :/ Another plus was the staff. All of the staff were very helpful and willing to work with us and help us enjoy our time there. When we asked for directions they were clear and helpful and had maps at the desk. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but the food was good, especially the deserts. Just be aware that the portions are small, but tasty.
