The couple who run this inn, nestled in the Eifel, were very friendly and made us feel at home immediately. After unloading our baggage, we ate dinner in the restaurant. The selection is very simple, yet is elegant and delicious. The senf suppe, or mustard soup was a surprising high point. Fair warning, order it with a beer or glass of wine to cut its pungency. The location is amazing. It's located within a stone's throw of a reservoir in the mountains, so the setting was eerily beautiful. Our night was quiet and very restful, in our clean and evidently newly remodeled room. The next morning we were greeted with a delicious full complimentary German breakfast with unlimited and excellent coffee with real fresh cream. After we settled our extremely reasonable bill, we drove away talking about ways we could justify returning for a longer stay. We are both highly satisfied with our experience here.
Edited to add a note: While the cost is low, like many traditional German businesses, they function on a "cash only" basis. There is an ATM nearby, but we are both familiar with this and brought sufficient money to cover our bill.
