Charming family owned boutique hotel. We have been there with our make-over-event #princessforoneday and had a good time - nice food, good sized rooms and a well run event series. read more

The hotel itself is not bad. The problem there are the employees who were absolutely rude and…read moreimpolite to us as guests making our whole stay so miserable we couldn't wait to leave. Every time we passed by certain employees (Mrs. Viola and Vanessa if I remember correctly) they looked at us and giggled as if we were ETs. Notice we are not the type of extravagant people one would look at normally, but for some reason they found us funny. Also, every request we had seemed like the hardest thing on the planet to accomplish. We once ordered a spoon in the room (I needed to take medicine) and my bf who was downstairs overheard them commenting how such a stupid request should take at least 30 minutes to be accomplished. I wished they could have a lesson with any American guest/costumer service to learn how to work at a hotel (a place where you work with people and for people). The overall arrogance was so unbearable we decided to cut our stay short and move to Remarque Hotel also in a central area of town.

Ok. I normally do not write bad reviews but I have to in this case. Because this place lacks…read moresomething which any organization needs: proper management. The staff is great, the rooms are clean, the management is hopeless and irresponsible. First they have only one iron for the entire hotel. They are charging almost 100 euro for a room and they can not find the money to at least have two. Second there is a night manager by the name of Saleen or something like that I don't really remember because nobody wears name tags. Half Turkish half German girl. She does not know what she is doing so be extremely careful around her. When I checked in with my car for some reason( still unknown to me) she gave my parking card to my client who just happened to be with me. She could have given it to me when I checked in but waited to give it to him once I had left to go to put my bags in the room. The day after I asked for the ticket and she said that she gave it to me. After minutes of trying to reason with her she remembered that she had given it to him and allowed him to sign for the card. That is called falsification of signature, it is an offense in most countries because the signature shows that I accept a service and will be charged money for it. Reasoning with this girl is like reasoning with a goat or anything else that can only give one answer. She kept saying he checked you in. I said no I checked myself in as evidenced by the key you personally gave me. The next day o spoke with the manager who I believe is the girls mother. She was just as headstrong and lacked communication skills because she could not wait until i finished my sentence. When I checked out this same old lady manager was there. I came at 10:30 to check out but no one was there. Check out at eleven so I go put my stuff in the car, go outside for a smoke, and some more coffee when I return at 11:15 I receive a call from my clients office. They called to say that the hotel old lady manager called and complained to them. First of all who does that for 15 minutes. Second I told her I was there on time but nobody was there. She said " that is impossible" now she I am being called a liar. I tell that there is a camera behind me in the lobby which verifies everything I said. She looks at me and says something even stupider. Just be careful here with the management they are terrible in communication and completely lack customer service.
