The place is fairly new, the staff said it was built in the last three years. Some elements to it have an IKEA like feel to it. The rooms were neat, and clean. The room was spacious, and even came with a balcony. On the balcony there were chairs and lounge chairs as well. Also the roof has another patio deck with a shower on top which was pretty impressive. The morning breakfast was very carb intensive, also did not change on a daily basis. Only thing that was disappointing was the $10 euro for each beach towel for the duration of the stay, and for me slightly too firm of a mattress for my liking.
The hotel is located a short walk to the Poetto Beach, which during the summer is overcrowded with teens and kids. It was our mistake to pick this beach during July, the staff were very friendly and if you are coming to Poetto Beach for the price and the free breakfast and good coffee this place is great.
If you are looking for a resort where there's more opportunity to getaway from kids, you may want to consider another part of Sardinia. We picked this place because it was close enough to town wanting good Sardinian food. The bus cost us $2.60 euro round trip to and from per each person. A taxi was around $17 euro into town one way, and $31 euro from the airport one way.
The best part was the service from Luigi, he has good recommendations and is very useful and speaks good English. read more
