Ayerim the concierge made sure we were well prepared ahead of time and from the second we arrived everything was top notch. We had stayed first at Hacienda Temazon where literally unless you do the 45 min tour you have no idea why anything there is the way it is. Nothing is explained of the old artifacts or buildings etc. At Chable from the moment you enter you are explained everything and can immediately start understanding what's what, what the history is, why who what where- Thank you Angel! The property is absolutely stunning! The vibe is so serene and chill. Total relaxation and fabulous luxury at every turn! You are treated like a king and queen. Trust me. The outdoor shower, private plunge pool, the bed- oMG the bed! The Yucatán teen dancers have amazing passion and entertain with their magical traditional dancing. The cigar bar is awesome! You feel like you are on sacred ground and it's a fabulous place to get grounded! It's an effort to get there but worth it and you won't want to leave. Anyone who stays here must count all their blessings because outside the walls you see how the rest of the area lives - tip well. Safe and responsive he even drove us to Cancun after stopping at Chichen Itza for way cheaper than any quote Elsewhere. Mayaland and Bungalows is in the rain forest but it only rained a couple times while on our…read morevacation and being from Tucson I welcomed the rain. It's such a great place to get away, enjoy a walk around the grounds filled with tropical flowers and trees, enjoy the pool after a hot humid day and ultimately just relax. We stayed in a suite with a view of the Observatory and enjoyed the sound of birds throughout the day, especially in the morning. They have three swimming pools and their own private entrance into the Mayan ruins. Entrance to the ruins is $14.00 USD per person a private tour to the ruins is an additional $50.00 USD total (which we did). The staff are all Mayans and were very friendly. A quick shout out to Christina in the gift shop, Danny who works at the pizza joint outside and Velario one of the bartenders. We had such a great time we're going back next year.
