Service was excellent. Servers spoke enough English to explain the menu and guide us to the bar after the meal, although we all sensed perhaps they were anxious to turn the table. The fois gras was the highlight of the meal. Definitely worth the drive and the price. Only thing we noticed that might have enhanced the experience was the lack of a muse bouche from the chef, but he made up for that with a personable visit to our table and a great effort with his English (which was much better than our French)!

The grounds are amazing and beautiful. There is an outdoor pool. Each room is pretty private and you can stay either in the main house or in the Khaki house. The breakfast was great as was dinner. The French countryside is wonderful in the summer and it serves as a beautiful setting for the amazing food that the Troisgros family prepares. I would highly recommend a stay here.
