There are running/bike trails right by the hotel and they let you rent bikes for the day, which is a nice deal. The rooms themselves are spacious, with a balcony. There is a restaurant on-site that has pretty good breakfast and lunch options (didn't try the dinner). The service isn't great...or fast, but the setting is absolutely lovely and the food is quite good! The menu was in German and mine is not so good...Anyway, I order the ham plate - it came with thin slices of black forest ham, a delicious smoked sausage, a lightly-dressed salad, and some bread with butter (shaped like a bear...) I also ordered their refreshing "sommerdrink" that was a combination of grapefruit, grenadine, and tonic. Very good!
