Pleasent and nice people working there but dont expect them to speak English as none of the staff i had Contact with did. No problem with the langage anyways. Free parking is Always a perk and breakfast is included in the price. I would say that the breakfast selection was a bit of a dissapointment as german hotels/Inns normally have a large slection. They did have bread, marmelade, cheeses and eggs and descent coffee. The rooms where pretty big but the bed was way to hardc for me wich i also find "normal" in German if you dont live at a 4-5 star hotel in a larger city. Cute with the chubby "vintage" tv in a hotelroom in 2015 though it didnt bother me as we werent there to Watch the tele. Bathrroom in 70's green with a shower. The balcony with a table and two chairs are a plus among smokers and other that would like to enjoy a coffee or a beer there. We paid 88 $ wich i thought was about 25$ too much for the standard as i have lived at many great familyrun hotels and motels in Germany with similar standards for around 50-60 €. Malente is a small village so after 8 pm there only a couple of places open if you want to grab a bite and a nice Cold german beer.,
