While not a plush 5-star hotel, nor trying to be, they do all the little things well. Front desk is friendly and efficient (quick check in). I asked for a late check out, they let us check out at 1:30 without an extra cost. Clean and bright rooms. Internet worked well. Air conditioning was great (though no air conditioning in the lobby). Overall, very efficient stay.

The bathroom door doesn't have a lock just a simple door, like a closet door (so if u bunking with others that ur not to close too they can hear ur business in there, lol.) It's cheaper than a lot of the other hotels near by. MCDonald is literally the next parking over so u can walk to that. Free WIFI!!!!! And good signal too! That was a major plus!!!! Would stay again here if we in the area.

There's a nice lobby with a bar that runs 24/7 which has comfy chairs and free wifi to enjoy along with a glass of wine or mug of beer plus a snack, free peanuts even. We found better food options down the street with better prices however. The room has a small tv, and a good sized shower. The location is very quiet. I would stay here again. McDonalds is across the parking lot so skip the breakfast's additional charge.

It must have been a very special night in Winterthur, and many rather loud people were underway. That somehow disturbed our sleep by an open window. But that definitely doesn't account to the quality of the hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped. Service was very friendly. I would definitely return to this hotel, if I would need a hotel in Winterthur.

I travel quite a lot (about 50% of my time for work) and have stayed in 100s of hotels all over the…read moreUS, Europe, and Asia, and I can honestly say this is one of it not the worst hotel experience I have ever had. First there is no air-conditioning in the rooms in the hotel and not even a ceiling fan. My room does have a window which I have left wide open but that only seems to be able to bring the temperature in the room down from 95 F to 90 F. Additionally since it was cooler outside then inside I even asked for a simple small fan to help pull cold air into the room but was told they had no fans either. The other issue with leaving the window open is that my room is on the second floor directly above the entrance to the hotel which sits on the busy downtown street. So from 10pm until 1am I was awake due to all the noise from the downstairs restaurant and bar. After 1am the noisy crowd dispersed only to be replaced by the sounds of garbage trucks and early morning deliveries, which continue all morning until I gave up trying to sleep at 3am. In addition to these issues, the hotel in general appears run down. The phone in my room was broken, the bed is basically a military style cote and about as comfortable,. The breakfast is a joke. Do not make the same mistake I did go somewhere, anywhere else.
