We wanted something really local and we were not disappointed. Flavors are distinct and well…read morebalanced. The wedding soup was a little too salty and the Sauerbraten had a strong red wine base, but the gravy was flavorful and the meat very tender. The Tottchen was delicious, but very, very filling. The schnitzel was the best we ever had - I could have it every day if portions were about a third the size. The Herrencreme was yummy, not overly sweet, and something we would definitely want to try making at home.
Alas, Münster does not have its own beer, so we tried one from Dortmund, Brinkhoff's No. 1. Also had a Radaberger. Beer is presented very seriously here, wilth own, labeled glass and a labeled skirt and sometimes coaster, too!
