First of all, the location of this hotel was prime, right next to downtown, el Pilar area and…read moreconnected very well with busses and city trains. Then, it was the best deal when seeking a hotel with a pool, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my accommodations, I was expecting a hotel room and it was a fully functioning apartment, if I was living in this city I'd live here year round, everything was top of the line, new and modern, I could not believe the price, I actually thought they may had given me an upgraded room due to perhaps overbooking, but later I meet other's guests and all accommodations here were like mine, some even bigger. The pool is a hidden jewel in between floor 1st and ground, small and triangular and to get sunbathed you have to go to another roof connected through a outdoor staircase, I thought it was a brilliant use of the space, though, keep in mind this in between buildings and the sun will no longer hit the pool or the sunbathing area after 6pm. My favorite was the rooftop restaurant on the 8th floor that you access going up to the 7th floor in the elevator, then, as if it was a hidden secret, you go one floor upstairs (no wheelchair access though) and the view is magnificent, the menu is decent and the wine list not amusing but they have a Protos bottle for 16€ that made up the awful 20€ jamón appetizer that was not worth more than 5€ lol, definitely a tourist mistake that I shall warn you about. Overall it was great under my standards, after 2 glasses of wine and that marvelous view you forget all sorrows and stress ever happening in your life, then a walk in town and back to rest in your beautiful room. Yes, I will come back, hands down, and I highly recommend it. 4 stars because of the crappy jamón serrano that, given you are in Spain the least for them is to have the real deal, a Jabugo Jamón that would match the views and the accommodations :) #InLove
