The breakfast buffet has lots of options that are fresh and tasty which I enjoyed. You can enjoy your breakfast in the beautiful courtyard outside. The rooms were very clean but for the price point and "luxury" status of this hotel I found them to be lacking. There was no A/C so sleeping with a fan was very difficult. The amenities in the room were very basic too. The spa was nice with a pool and saunas. The free bike rentals were great to explore the city!

I must say that the service and staff at the Hotel Post were much nicer on several occasions. The Seehotel seemed to be much more interested in servicing the organized groups they had staying at the hotel than they did any other customer.

A nice spot in the quiet Anif neighborhood of Salzburg is Hubertushof Hotel. On new year's day…read moreevening, after spending a short time trying to get into one of our friends' local favorites and failing: three misses (no non-smoking area, closed, too busy), we decided to give the Hubertushof a go. My friends have thought all along that because it's a hotel - it might be more fancy or expensive than is desirable for locals... but it was neither. The atmosphere is classic Austrian 'at home' comfortable. The décor is in the traditional styling, but new and very clean. The dining room is fairly large. There is a complimentary coat check from a very nice hostess. The menu was robust with classic Austrian fare. The service was very good and wifi was free. Prices pretty reasonable, and with exception to our friend's meal not being exactly what she anticipated, the food was very good and the portions plentiful. Extensive wine list. Unfortunately there is not a lot available for the vegetarians, sorry. Service was quick and we felt at home: not pushed or rushed in any way, which is nice. All in all, a pleasant experience and now my friends know they can walk to a meal in just minutes and not spend their life savings enjoying it. Date of Visit: Jan 1, 2016

Such a beautiful view! This restaurant and hotel overlooks…read morea 'crescent' lake that's privately owned. Since it's owned by somebody, they decreed that motorboats aren't allowed out on this picturesque lake, since it'd be too noisy. Good for them! It's a wonderful view of this alpine lake, with the Alps behind it. We stopped off here in a caravan of motor coaches, where we had a chance to use their free restrooms. The staff seemed like they'd seen it a million times before, and since you got ushered through the gift shop at the exit, I can see why they're so permissive of all these tourists using their loo. The gift shop reminded me of the kinda schmaltz you see in Cracker Barrel gift shops back home. Things like little games, coffee cups with your name on it, picture books about the area- that kinda stuff. Since we were like the 5th tour bus that pulled in, there was a crazy long line of tourists waiting to use the can, so I ran across the street and paid fifty euro cents at the gas station.
