On the positive side, the hotel sits right on the water, and some rooms (ours included) have balconies overlooking the water. Also, the breakfast buffet was pretty good, and the staff there attentive. There are many negatives, however. First, the place is dirty, and run down. In our four day stay, they didn't change the linens, or vacuum the room. The sink doesn't drain, and they ignored my complaints for three days. The toilet is so poorly designed that it stops up every day. Another issue is the location. There are no grocers, or restaurants, within reasonable walking distance. You need to depend on Uber, or the strange bus service to go anywhere. There is substantial road construction going on in both directions, making everything more difficult. The front desk personnel are not particularly helpful. They generally ignore your requests, and the information they give you is generally unreliable. The hotel was listed as 4 1/2 stars, and is expensive. There is no justification for the price, or the rating. read more
