Felt safe and secure my entire stay, staff checks in on you often and very attentive. The room is very spacious, comes with comfortable bedding, iron, bathrobes, slippers, Nespresso machine, lavender water, tailored scented body wash and lotion. The spa is worth every peso. This hotel is meant for someone whom wishes to relax. Given that info there's no gym on property. But the spa has a hot sauna, wet sauna, hydrotherapy pool, various private rooms for massages, full showers and locker rooms. This is an adult only hotel so you'll miss the screams of crying children or loud cartoons. But hopefully the magical sunrises and sunsets can make up for that.

Breakfast is the best meal of the day in the restaurant. In the spa I really enjoyed the hot stone massage and hydrotherapy. The antioxidant facial wasn't my favorite experience, but overall this spa is amazing. Casa Fernanda is a lovely oasis in a magical Mexican mountain town.

I was extremely embarrassed when I realized it was a Motel(a place where people go to have sex quick and then leave). I left my hotel room with my boyfriend and friend and when we returned, our room door was wide open. When I called and asked what happened, they didn't care and said they thought we left. I replied with saying how I paid for 2 nights so why would I leave? Then the man hung up on me. I then went to eat at their "restaurant" where the waiter had no idea what they even served there. We ordered pretty easy food, a veggie burrito, a steak burrito, and a Mollete. They brought us disgusting food. For the veggie burrito they brought us carrots and cauliflower wrapped in a flour tortilla. For the steak burrito, they brought me a ham and cheese roll up, and the Molletes meat and cheese tasted bad. I was so let down. My cousin is getting married this weekend, and that hotel was close. And the reviews were nice so we attempted to stay there. I felt like the rooms had cameras in them, and there was a little door that you could crawl through to get inside the room from the hallway. Extremely creepy. I felt unsafe. If you're trying to hang out with a prostitute for the night, this is the place for you. If you're trying to enjoy a vacation, don't stay here. The staff didn't care about anything. Except telling us my family couldn't be inside our room we rented unless we paid 200 pesos per person, per day. We ended up getting a different hotel. That is actually a HOTEL.

If you are looking for a historic place to relax for several days, this is the place! You will sleep in very clean and very comfortable rooms (the pictures on their website don't do them justice). If you are used to AC just make sure to select your room accordingly as it can get hot during the spring/summer months. The garden and pool area are extremely well kept and you can also play tennis or volleyball there, go for horse rides or get a massage. The staff is amazing and the food here is delicious. If you plan your wedding here, you have several beautiful locations for cocktail/ceremony/party to choose from on the hacienda. It is just the perfect location! FYI a fun fact, just recently the Netflix series Bandidos was filmed here.

Talk about MTV cribs this guy was an OG no doubt. You can see various historical artifacts throughout the place. Like water ducts and the original kitchen that was next to his master suite (that you can rent) in case he got hungry in the middle of the night. The pools are huge and very Romanesque feel with pool side service and lounge chairs and shade. We went for our friends 25 wedding anniversary and it was so freaking hot it was crazy. The rooms have AC and mosquito repellent-very much needed once the sun goes down. You can horse ride around the property and order a massage. Its mostly just chill here not much to do but relax, eat and drink. Its ugly little town on the drive in but once you hit the hotel its another world. Staff goes above and beyond in helping. Its old school here they don't have even do on line reservations. Food was good as well as the drinks. Everything reasonably priced. I loved getting away from it all and my husband and I had a great time at this party held here on the premises. Bring cool clothes lots of sunblock and be ready to just sit back and relax.
