It's not the place for you if you experience sticker shock. The rooms are reasonable but dinner is…read morepretty expensive...over 100 Euros for 2 with one being a salad. But...the breakfast is included in the price of the room and is amazing...plus they bring out bad for you to make sandwiches of the breakfast leftovers to take with you. You could say that you get three meals for the price of dinner. The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome and wanting to come back. The rooms are nice with great views and are a decent size. There is no elevator so be prepared for some steps.

LET THE DINER BEWARE!!! Super expensive scam. Our experience was just as described on other rating…read moresites. We were told there were only three dishes: Jaegerschnitzle, goose, and wild boar. We chose a Jaegerschnitzle, a Wienerschnitzle (clarified by saying "ohne sauce"), and the boar. Then he asked if we wanted small or large salads, and we said two small salads. We asked for a flask of water, but he said there were no flasks, only glasses, so we ordered 3. He delivered three salads, we ate two, but he refused to take the third off the bill. We argued that we didn't order the third, but he said we touched the salad and he could not refund. Each salad was 5,50, not inlcuded in the exorbitant costs of the main dishes. The three waters were 3,50 each (now we see why they won't sell by the 0.7 liter bottle). We were charged for the extra sauce that he brought for the Wienerschnitzle. Altogether we paid EU 85,50 for: Jaegerschnitzle, wild boar, and Wienerschnitzle, all with french fries, 2 salads and 3 glasses of water. I wish we would have checked the reviews on this trap. It is by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in all our years in Germany. Oh, and he claimed not to take Visa -- but other reviewers claimed he tried to tack on EU 5 when the used their Visa cards. Now I understand why we and one other couple were the only schmucks in the restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night.
