You arrive in Oberlech by gondola, because it's car-free in the winter. Hotel Burgwald, along with the other central Oberlech hotels, is connected to the gondola by underground tunnel. It's the overall experience once you get here that makes Hotel Burgwald so unique--warm and genuine staff, world-class skiing at the doorstep, exquisite dining each evening, casual apres-ski atmosphere where families play boardgames by the fireplace or visit the spa.
