The hotel was an affordable and convenient way to explore a beautiful and historic river town, and the region in general (parking is available if you have a car). At the end of each day of sightseeing, we bought some Riesling and snacks and enjoyed them in the beautiful garden. Our room was adjacent to a babbling brook, which was a lovely sound to lull you to sleep at night. Breakfast was great and was included in the room. Highly recommend!

The buffet breakfast in the morning was very good with a diverse selection of meats, vegetables, cheese, eggs and more. Excellent pots of coffee were provided for every table. The hostess was very nice and suggested several additions to our excursions that ended up to be marvelous small towns where we would not have stopped without her suggestion. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the dock for the Rhine boat tour and 1 minute walk to public parking, the hotel also has several parking spaces available. I would stay in this hotel again.

There is a restaurant, closed Monday and Tuesday, and a bistro that will be open Those days. A wonderful room with a juice and water minibar. The nicest bathroom I have ever seen and a view to put you back in time. There is a museum below in the Castle that is included in your stay along With a private garden and your own key access to the garden. Only one luggage rack in the room but we improvise. Fresh fruit and a crystal decanter of sherry waiting on the table in the sitting room. 2 glasses and chocolates. For a little while, this is our Castle and our Maserati is parked below in a safe spot. Dinner reservation in a few hours.

The train passes just below our windows, but amazingly with the triple pane windows, it sound was barely noticeable. Our room had a balcony overlooking this wonderful view. Also, I was very impressed with the cleanliness, especially the bathroom. So convenient that they have a wonderful reasonably priced gourmet restaurant just downstairs. Normally hotel restaurants are overpriced for what you get, but not here. Felt like we stayed in someone's home. Wish we could have stayed another 2 nights!
