Was I fan? Mmmmmmedium.
Shall I give them the benefit of the doubt? I shall!
Why?
* The hotel is clean, decent, comfortable beds - nothing to complain. The interior, however, is a bit dated. Welcome back to the eeeeeh 1970s or so.
* The breakfast is quite good! You have all sorts of fruits, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, croissants, cheeses & meat. The scrambled eggs were Dr. Seuss' colour so I wouldn't necessarily recommend that.
* The rooms are nice, but it really depends on which one you have; we had one of the best ones with a little balcony, view at the mountain and slopes, kingsize bed, and even a bath! Our friend's rooms were not as nice, so if you book a room here - make sure you'll check what kind of room it is behorehand.
* The hotelbar, well.... Ehm, it's a hotelbar more designed for families, children, and large groups, than a hotelbar where we wanted to pend an hilarious night. But then again, maybe we're not the target group...
* There is free WiFi, but limited to 800 MB and just for 1 device. So with the two of us, one needed to log out before the other one could access internet. Meh.
* The service is absolutely impeccable! Super friendly at the frontdesk and they can arrange anything for you; ski passes (you just pay at the front desk and collect it the next morning) and when you hire skis next door, you'll get a discount as a hotelguest. We Dutchies love discounts!
* You'll get a key for the lockers in the ski room downstairs; the lockers are spacious and I love the fact that your personal belongings and ski gear (whether your own or rentals) are locked away safely.
* Major plus: the hotel is literally next to the ski slope and ski lift so in 5 minutes, you're on your way to the mountain for some snowy adventures!
We got a really great deal on the room price, so that's definitely the reason for my 4-star rating; I saw the regular prices and I wouldn't say that I would be willing to pay that for the whole, overall experience. However, if we can get a good deal again next year, I'll definitely would like to stay here again! read more
