We recently stayed several days at Hotel Italia and have nothing but praise for this small-format boutique hotel.
It is located a short walk away from the central Piazza del Popolo inside a beautifully-restored old building which has been repurposed for the hotel.
The rooms are quaint and decorated with taste and, most importantly, spotless clean thanks to hard-working Gianna (we hope we got her name right!).
The front desk is manned by Elda and Rossella and they are friendly and ready to help you with any question you might have.
The rates are very fair- we paid 90 Euros a night for a double room.
Breakfast is an extra charge of 10 Euros per person.
If you want to skip breakfast, there is a bar on the first floor that serves a great cappuccino and Italian pastries and a bakery right around the corner.
The hotel also offers complementary parking across the street. read more
