The restaurant is super pricey! Breakfast was $24 euros. The room was a bit more modern. The issue is the key card has to be inserted for the lights to work. Saves on energy but was a bit of a hassle for us leaving and entering. The bathroom shower allows water to run outside the shower area and the floor gets wet around the toilet area. There's a red light that gives heat and that was amazing. Beds were small and not as comfortable and only one pillow per bed and no sheet only a duvet. This was my major issue because the room gets HOT! There's no central air or heat and with a duvet and no sheet you are either hot or cold. We had to open our window which also was an issue due to noise from outside. The room has plenty seating but not as much space as needed if staying long term or with additional people. The room has a hair dryer and vegan soap products for use. The room does not come with washcloths so make sure request upon arrival. Also the pool and outdoor area was closed for winter! Definitely didn't appreciate that and should have been advertised. Restaurant staff were okay but not the friendliest. We are there and service was definitely like we were bothering them.

The rooms are clean and comfortable but do not expect anything too fancy. The service is great and the restaurant serves good food as well. The one thing to know about this area is that there is not much in walking distance. So you will eaither spend alot of time eating at the hotel or you will need to catch the bus to the SBahn and head into Munich. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

This will cost €15 for a 10 minute cab (there is no hotel shuttle ) and you will be stuck in the middle of nowhere, only to discover that there is no room service and there is no restaurant except for the €40 buffet they offer for dinner. You're better off eating at the airport. My very grumpy cab driver was upset that I wanted to pay with a credit card, so I was dumb enough to give him a tip to make up for the inconvenience, making that an €18 waste. The only nice thing about this hotel was the young woman at the check-in counter, who told me that the price of the buffet is really ridiculous and she apologized for it. She suggested I download a local app called Lieferando, which is similar to Uber eats, and get some food delivered. I decided to skip dinner instead Then you get to your room, down a dark corridor, with no ceiling and a bunch of exposed ductwork and pipes and other things because the whole thing is under construction. How ironic that I could see all that ductwork, because the air conditioning doesn't work and the room is a little hotbox. I couldn't figure out why the air conditioning was set to such a ridiculously low temperature, 50°F until I realized that the last person here must've sweat through the experience as well. You think it would be easy enough to just open the window and solve the problem, except that the window has a sticker on it that says do not open, and it doesn't open anyway. I hope the construction project next-door is not supposed to be another one of these hotels, but that's what it looks like. And that's about all I can see, a giant construction project right outside my window, from the first floor, also overlooking the parking lot. To call this entire experience a disappointment would be an understatement . I'm trying to put it out of my mind and pretend it never happened, because it's an awful ending of an otherwise great trip. My layover between planes was from 18:30 on Monday until 14:30 on Tuesday. I thought I should stay close to the airport, but in hindsight, I either should have stayed right at the airport, at the Hilton, or stayed in Munich and taken the train to get there. All the other options would have been more pleasant and less expensive. I will never stay in this hotel, or this chain again. Spare yourself the unpleasant experience. For €191, I expected more.

The bus stop is right outside the hotel so this was an excellent choice on our recent overnight layover in Munich. The hotel has a decent sized parking lot for people who are driving to the location. The lobby is well decorated and they have a restaurant in the lobby. We were checked in promptly on arrival and were given a room on the 2nd floor. The elevators are a bit small but we didn't have any luggage so that didn't really affect us. The rooms were very clean and the cozy. Even though we were right next to the airport but we were able to sleep comfortably through the night without hearing jets taking off and landing which usually is an issue for airport hotels. 4 star decent hotel with excellent pricing if you book through Expedia which I did.

The lighting in the room made it feel kind of lonely and dark. I turned on every light just to make it better. Either I couldn't figure out how to make the shower work, or the shower didn't work so I just ended up taking a bath. Have done that in years, but it wasn't so bad. I slept fine. Quiet for being close to a major airport. The breakfast at this hotel was the best attribute to my stay. Large dining room and a great buffet of many choices. There were attendants constantly wiping tables and setting out new food. Very efficient and clean. I enjoyed everything I ate and even sneaked a few Nutella packets to snack on at the airport.

Freising (fry sing) is a small town, untouched by WW II. The town and hotel were used by American forces as a headquarters after WW II. It is charming, easy to walk around and full of decent stores, shops and restaurants. Cobbled stone streets and clean as can be. The hotel is, likewise, clean and sited right in the middle of the main street. Very convenient for your explorations. The staff speaks excellent English and has been very accommodating as to directions and recommendations. Breakfast is served in their own dining room and you can either use the buffet itself, or special order eggs and some other custom breakfast items. You will need to eat lunch and dinner in the town.

We were actually given a room across the street in the Chalet, but you need to check in and out in the hotel itself. Lots of parking right in front of the hotel, and you could go down into their underground parking lot as well for no charge. Our room was three sections - one section with a bed/desk/tv and then another section with 3 beds, with the bathroom entrance located between the two sections. They leave little packs of gummy bears on the pillows which was a fun surprise! The ceiling height is low, which didn't bother us as we aren't exceptionally tall, but it does make it a little claustrophobic. One set of windows opened up to the park behind the Chalet which was a nice view, the other was right on the road in front of the rooms. The bathroom window faced the road so you couldn't throw open the window to cool the room off after a shower, etc. With no air conditioning it can get stuffy if you aren't willing to leave the road side windows open all night. The fixtures in the bathroom were definitely dated and a little worn, we dealt with it but it might give me second thoughts were I to stay again. The breakfast was delicious! Wonderful selection of breads, fruits, meats and cheeses, and BACON! First time we have seen that on our trip and really made our morning. You could eat in the dining room or outside on their patio which made for a joyous way to start a beautiful summer day. The hotel has a dining room, but they were also very close to other restaurants in the area which was nice. Dachau is about a 15 minute drive away. Can't beat the location or the breakfast, so I would recommend a stay here!

The room was a standard, not super fancy or decadent hotel with a very comfortable king sized bed and super clean bathroom. I liked that there was a mini foyer upon entering the room where you can hang your coat and closet to store bags and clothes.The foyer separated the bathroom and the bedroom. The hotel decor could afford an update but it wasn't too hard on the eyes and the nose. Everyone smokes in Europe pretty much and was very pleased that upon request we were able to get a smoke free room / floor. For tourists like ourselves, it was just important to us that the hotel room was clean, smoke free, have free Wifi and breakfast options aka COFFEE! We basically used this hotel just to sleep and launch from. This placed ticked off everything on our list PLUS location was perfect - not too far from a major highways and cities. It felt like we were in the suburbs but in reality - there were a few businesses not too far away. Parking could be an issue here if you find yourself coming in very late. The staff was able to "reserve" us a spot a couple of times and for that we were pretty thankful! Hotel Schriberhof also has a restaurant and we were able to get our "liquid breakfast" there every morning in addition to their fresh breads/pastries, fruit and full breakfast offerings. It wasn't bad. In all actuality, it was quite convenient knowing that we didn't have to go look for a place for breakfast on some mornings. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to our friends and family visiting Munich.
