LBdG is one of the best hotels in the world, period…read more It's located on the top of the hill over looking the beautiful village of Gordes. Everything was top notch!! They made sure that my stay was more than just relaxing and comforting. They made sure everything I requested was done in a snap. From the first step into the hotel, the concierge to the front desk, they greeted me with smiles and warm welcomes. They kept my car clean and ready at all times and my room was spotless with fresh towels throughout the day. From room service to dining restaurants, the service and the food were just exquisite beyond my highest expectations. Big shout out to the concierge and everyone served me throughout my stay. I am a customer for life!! I had the hotel all to myself to the last day of October 27 before the closure for the winter months. What an unforgettable and unbelievable experience!! As far as I'm concern, even if no one can speak any English here, their actions have met all of my expectations and more LOUD & CLEAR. I love you LBdG!! Best to none!! The experience was EPIC!!

He came back with a few salty biscuits ). At this price and in this class of hotel this should not even be a request . 3 star because the view from the hotel is amazing I will come back to stay in the hotel and try the main restaurant Hopefully I will be able to update my review

Each time I've visited this hotel the wake-up call was messed up…read more They've decided to purely remove the business area for the shitty local boutique that wasn't even open. The bathroom floor is an extremely slippery linoleum. The shower is overly elevated. Dangerous to say the least! DO NOT visit this hotel if you're an elderly or suffer disabilities! The room is NOT sound proof. Couple having sex at 4am. Loud next room TV while trying to work in my room (because remember no business area). A cheap hotel (not the cheapest in the area) to avoid.

Clean, plain rooms at a good value…read more You're a 10-minute walk from the heart of Arles. The owners are friendly, the rooms are clean. We stayed here twice: the first time we had a room with a tub and bidet. The second time the shower was so small I had to open the door to pick up the shampoo bottle I dropped. There are no safes, which is a drawback. As it's on a narrow residential street you will hear the sounds of life in Arles: people having dinner, a baby crying and the occasional domestic squabble. There's a terrace area with tables, a wind break and plants which looks out on the roofs of the neighborhood. They serve a decent breakfast that is moderately priced. This hotel is good for those looking to stay in Arles at a reasonable price. Room Tip: Ask for a room with a tub.

There are several hikes to chose from, ranging in difficulties and different terrain. The hike I did took about four hours, two up and two down. Not having much experience in hiking I found the route well marked and fairly accessible, it did pose some difficulties but it was one of the harder routes. Once at the summit the views are breathtaking across the Provence country side. To the south the sea and to the north the Alps. Well worth the two hour climb. Be aware of the cooler temperatures at the top of the mountain and make sure to stick to the suggested routes or you may find yourself in difficulty.
