When people hear Best Western hotel, they don't picture a place as lovely as this ! This Best…read morewestern was quite a pleasant surprise ! The only minor thing was it took a bit of time to check in a group of eight people. When I asked the gentleman at the front desk where I might purchase an adapter, he kindly offered me one to use during my stay. It was really nice to have that option and it was for multiple inputs. (I made sure to return it to the front desk upon checkout so others may have it for use ) My room was very nice and while it was facing a Main Street, it was not too loud. Once I figured out how to turn on the heat, it was perfect temperature. The breakfast was good. The pastries and eggs were tasty. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We had just one night in Angers and picked Hotel 21 Foch because it was within an easy walk from…read morethe train station. What a lucky choice! The hotel is absolutely lovely: clean and modern, with interesting artistic touches throughout. Thomas met us at the door, showed us to our room, and left us with some dinner recommendations. In the morning, he was a quiet yet welcoming host and waiter at breakfast. (Note that breakfast--which was simple and delicious--is not included in the room fee.) The room itself had plenty of space and was immaculate. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling. Our only trouble was that we weren't smart enough to get the AC working, so I'd suggest getting specific instructions for that. From the hotel, it's about a block to get into the charming old area of town, and there are lots of dining choices right outside. If we ever have reason to visit Angers again, we'd jump at the chance to stay at 21 Foch.
