Let me start by saying it's a nice, clean hotel and the restaurant/bat on the main floor has…read moreabsolutely delicious food. However, there are some drawbacks to this hotel. First, I never really felt welcomed by the staff. I found them to be a bit cold and standoffish. I did notice nicer interactions with other natives, which only lessened the experience for me. The other issue was with the room. While nicely appointed and comfortable, there's no thermostat. The only way to manage the temp was by leaving the door to the deck open. Not the best case when you're trying to sleep and there's noise outside. The maid service was so-so. They forgot my room once, and when they didn't, it all seemed a bit half-assed. Overall, it was a nice enough 5 days, but it could have been better.

I apologize in advance. I do not speak much Polish, so I am writing in English. I would suggest…read moreGoogle Translate or Babbelfish to translate my review. While the hotel ended up being a mix of good and not so good attributes, it began poorly. Check-in is supposed to begin at 2pm. However, our room we were told was not ready. On vacation, we were not in a rush, so we headed to the bar for lunch and Okicim. Nevertheless, when we check again after our meal, there was still no room ready. This was starting to get a little annoying. Finally at around 4pm, I found the most senior agent at the front desk and told him straight up that two hours of waiting was more than enough. Either they find a room immediately and compensate us for our time - magically a room suddenly opened up! The room was clean and had a nice view (though I imagine there isn't such thing as a bad one. It would have been nice to have more bottle water. They only provided two tiny bottles. On the plus side, we did enjoy our tea, Dilmah. The restaurant was our favorite place at the hotel. We went there for most breakfasts and dinners as they had delicious local cuisine. My favorite dish was the Mountain Trout, served with stewed vegetables with prunes and potatoes covered in a local cheese. Oh, plus you could secure some free wifi around the restaurant; everywhere else it cost money. Our least favorite aspect of the hotel was the pool. After a day of skiing next door, I was really looking forward to a dip in a hot tub or at least a warm pool. There is no hot tub and the pool was quite chilly. As a result, we did not spend very long there! Finally, make sure to take advantage of the hotel shuttle. Its limited schedule is on a little sign out front. It goes downtown, the bus depot, and the cable cars.

I've called the hotel several times but was not able to reach an operator or the reservation desk. There is still some construction in progress so don't be surprised if you hear loud banging from the 5th Floor at 8:30 in the morning. The breakfast buffet was really nice and the hotel restaurant had a really nice dinner a la carte menu, the restaurant staff was better prepared then I thought, I was really impressed! If you are looking for good regional food, try the downtown area or any other place, just stay away from the Tradycyjna Restaurant which is also part of the hotel (another building) rude service and questionable food. Other feedback: - not enough free parking spaces -well appointed rooms but the single beds made into a double are not that comfy and have really small blankets. - general lack of organization - poor lighting in the hallways - getting to your room can be an adventure, in some cases you will have to take one elevator down and another one up. - not enough staff to answer phones - no decaf coffee - no room service menu - no concierge service Please don't get me wrong, this is probably one of the more comfortable hotels in town, just be prepared, I guess I am spoiled :)

Huge hotel, so I was afraid of massive amounts of people at the facilities. But actually the spa…read moreand the pool were quite nice and not too crowded. The rooms are nice and spacious. Buffet is 4/5. One annoying thing was finding a space to park in the huge parking lot, especially because it was icy and not shoveled properly. Overall a pretty nice experience.
