The Wi-Fi isn't very fast in the room. And it is kind of in an odd area. Upside: Hotel. First of all, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the prices were very affordable for the amount of good food that we got. The waiter was hilarious and extremely nice as well. Free parking! Free breakfast, which was AMAZING. They really put care into the food services here. There were at least fifteen types of meat including smoked salmon, a large selection of bread, a surprising assortment of butters, cereals, nuts, fruits, juices and most impressive of all. They had around 30, different teas from all over the world... I'd pay big money to eat this breakfast again! Rooms are quite spacious with a couch for sitting too! Overall cozy hotel with great service and great food. P.s. they have a deal with a local gym and guests can work out for free there!

I found this hotel on booking.com and booked to stay for one night. It's located right next to the…read moreMain river and is a gorgeous old building. There are no lifts so if you have heavy bags, carrying them two storeys is a pain in the ass. The room is pretty basic and small. The cafe downstairs serves below average breakfast and at €136 for a nights stay with breakfast is a bit rich for this place. I certainly would never eat here again. The staff were friendly enough and helped us with bags and having a room with no ac on the top floor meant it was too hot at night. I would not come back here again. The value for money sucks and the breakfast was terrible.

The room was in a good state of repair and nice clean bedding.No breakfast. the people working in here spoke a small amount of English and I speak only a small amount of German, but between us we managed very well. The hotel is over the road from an old church, and the bells ring at 6am every morning - these do wake you up and the bells seem to ring and ring and ring !!! I would stay here again, Seligenstadt is a beautiful place and well worth the visit.
