Toilets are hygienic…read more Positives: The buffet style breakfast offering from yogurt with fruits to many types of salami, breads and juices and many more things. The hotel is very easy to find. It's just 5 minutes walk away from Billstedt U-Bahn. Negatives: As I went there in summer months, the atmosphere inside the room got very warm and unpleasant in the evening. I just wished if hotel staff could have provided temporary fans. But it's not a problem for the most of time in Hamburg as nights as always pleasant/cold in Hamburg. My room didn't have good TV. It was very small (May be like 14 inches, looked more like TVs from 90s. But I wasn't in Hamburg to watch TV, so I shouldn't complain. All in all, a very good place to stay. *** Visit Hamburg, a town welcoming the modern culture into the centuries old preserved history. One of the best places in Germany to spend time as tourist. ***

It's near the Autobahn, but not good for visiting the inner city with public transportation (last bus returns at midnight back to the hotel). Quality: Clean hotel rooms with nice and comfy beds. Nothing to complain about. Also we loved the fitness and wellness rooms. Everything was totally brand new. The gym equipment, the sauna and also changing rooms and showers (in 2015). Also we were nearly alone. Very good for relaxing. Service: Everybody was nice and friendly.

Dont believe the descriptions on various travel agent sites, this hotel is miles away from the centre of Hamburg (a 20 Euro taxi ride); it doesnt have room service; and beware, the rooms dont have hairdryers (there is one at reception, but you have to go and get it yourself, which is not the kind of discovery you want to make when you just stepped out of the shower). It seems to be a favourite place with Eastern European builders who get incredibly loud between midnight and 3am.
