The room was as expected, with a lot of space in the room and the bathroom. The outside terrace was a great quiet spot to relax with some wine and cheese. It was a very comfortable 5 days and we enjoyed it very much! If you're driving, reserve your parking well in advance as the hotel only has a few and it's first come, first served. We did and it was one of the best parking scenarios we've ever had.

Although we weren't thrilled about staying in the area near the train station, CDP was one of the few hotels in town that had a family room, as most of the more charming hotels required that we book 2 rooms or squeeze in a rollaway bed into a small space. Therefore, we were happy to find and book a room with 3 beds at CDP, and even more so when we arrived in Orange late in the evening after a daylong road trip to be greeted by a friendly and welcoming reception. After traveling through many parts of France, we've come to appreciate the hospitality of the inn keepers, which is not to be taken for granted, and especially after an exhausting drive, we were grateful that the owners made every effort to accommodate our needs, like finding a covered parking in their garage for our car. We really appreciated their hospitality and will definitely keep CDP in mind the next time we're in Orange.
