Although there was a bit misunderstanding with the reservation. But at the end everything turned out fine. The hotel got a really nice location, it really close to the main station, bus stations as well. And of course, the great view of the city. And there are couple different boat service just right along the river. If you want to have a great boat trip around the city, just get there and sign yourself up. It cost usually around 15 euro. The hotel room I stayed was quite nice. Clean nd bright. The bed was cosy as well. The bathroom somehow was just ok for me. The breakfast was amazing. The restaurant looked really fancy and good atmosphere. With the amazing view, it really gave me a great mood to start the day. They offered many Different kind of the food for breakfast. So the guest could have the breakfast in anyway that they wanted. The service inside the restaurant was great as well. The hotel offers free Internet, just need the name of the guest and the room number, you back to the net again, really convenient. Although it isnt super fast, but it works. I could imagine myself to stay here again when next time I am in town.

The staff is welcoming and greets you with smiles be it morning, afternoon or night. Everyone says hello, good morning, good evening - check in staff are quick to get you registered and into your room. Very modern, clean and inviting. Love the "patio" style seating overlooking the river and the buildings across the river. Quiet, rooms are large and comfortable with huge windows that lets in fresh air and of course the sun (when available). Nice seating area with 2 lounge chairs with a coffee table. Rooms are not as bright at night but far better than some other hotels were it feels like you are in a basement. Love the fact that they have a stocked mini fridge for drinks if you need it. Usual European style insert your room card to keep the lights on. Very energy thinking, love the clean bathroom/shower, not huge but large enough to let you do what you need to do. I like visiting here especially as it is only about an hour's drive from Hamburg airport. It is also in the marzipan capital of the world. Come, stay, enjoy and rest - worth the visit.

In fact, I found it quite nice. The hotel isn't so big, but it still got a small bar, which next to the restaurant there got here, close to reception also got a computer that for people who might needs. There is a bus stop could take people right to the center of Lübeck, around 5 minutes. Sure, if you like you can walk on foot as well, it took me around 13 mins to get to Holstentor. The hotel room which I was staying was actually quite a nice one. I found it really clean and comfortable, and the whole looked really nice, I think it was probably one of the nicest rooms here. The design of the bathroom kind of remind me the men's room I saw in Deutsche Bann, but an upgrade version of that, really practical. There was no safe in the room, need to go to the reception for that. The procedure was quite simple. The breakfast of the hotel was alright, it wasn't super a lot options, but they got most all the them, Fruits, Cereals, breads, bacons and so on. There was even a small section for gluten free food and a Waffle machine for the guests, people could just DIY their very own waffle, quite cool. They offer free WIFI to use for the guests as well. The staff was quite friendly, I have a nice stay here. The price of the hotel room was alright, week days are much cheaper. For a business or short staying this could be a cool choice.

This is where I stay when I go to Lubeck - it was down the street from my grandparents house which was the main reason because she knew our family but also it's just out of the town about a 20 min walk along the river The street is quiet and the rooms are refreshing. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the breakfast in this place. If you are an "american" you're not going to get your fry up of eggs and bacon. Your typical German brekkie is a hard boiled egg, along with hot fresh rolls from the bakery (which are to die for - the butter and bun just melts in your mouth) along with your classic cold cuts and cheese. If you are ify on those options she also has a some yogurt to the side and some musli. Of course I always some back to this Pension because we personally know one another and have stayed with her many times that is forms a relationship but her prices are reasonable, it's clean and she is friendly Last time I saw her she was picking up a few english phrases - of course language is kind of a barrier but she's getting there :) If you do give her a try - walk to the end of Bulowstr and head into the park to walk towards the town... there are a few lovely picture ops where you can get the whole city in the background if you stand at the top of the hill :)
