Well I guess this time of year in the Belgian Ardennes nothing is really cheap. It was good to find a triple room, first of all. The hotel is located right downtown in Trois Ponts. Well, there isn't much to the town, so the location was, in the end, not that important. The hotel itself was bare.... basic. I am an Army veteran and have stayed in better barracks. The biggest complaint about this place is that it wasn't very clean; the bathroom in particular. The floor was dirty, especially in the corner near the toilet. Seems that a broom and mop haven't touched that space in a while. If you need a hotel out that way and nothing else is available, then sure, use this one. Fortunately we only stayed one night. Oh, and when I went to pay the next morning, I was told that they only took cash. Fortunately I had enough in my wallet.

The food was excellent, we had a 3-course dinner: soup, main dish and dessert. The breakfast was superb! English and continental breakfast + pancakes, fruit,... A good hotel in a nice neighbourhood!
