Hotel is located smack dab in the center of the city, which made moving about pretty straightforward.
The whole city was planned along linear grids. A short walk one way or another would take you to a historic place.
As far as hotel stays during my 10 day Grand tour of Italy with Trafalgar went, this was one place that was better than most.
I was sharing a room with someone whom I only met on the tour (she's from Atlanta, I'm from Los Angeles) and imagine our dismay to find a room with one single double bed.
So I checked with the front desk if that could be corrected, imagine my delight at getting upgraded to a two room suite!
Now that's the type of service I expected for the money I paid joining a Trafalgar tour.
I recommend the hotel due to its location, comfort, view of the street from the balcony was nice. Working A/C for comfort was such a relief to have. (several hotels on the tour had problems with that - maybe we're spoiled Americanos who like the usual freezing temps in most hotels). read more
