Well... food, service, location, atmosphere... basically everything. Food is delicately prepared, very tasty and well presented. At this point it is more than food, it's almost art. Wine list is very complete. Waiters and waitress were extremely friendly, helpful and listening to our needs. And the Hotel Eden is well-named: extremely cozy atmosphere, will an astonishing view. Definitely one of my favorite places in the Chamonix Valley.

Hotel Vanessa helped define my only ski trip to Switzerland. Two friends and I shared one of the…read morehotel's duplex rooms, which gave us useful space and felt very fairly priced for Verbier. The design blended classic Swiss warmth with modern updates, creating an alpine atmosphere that felt polished without becoming extravagant. After skiing hard, the basement wellness area was exactly what I wanted. The sauna and Jacuzzi became essential recovery tools, and returning there gave each day a satisfying rhythm. Just as memorable was the staff, who were exceptionally warm and personal, anticipating our needs and making the hotel feel genuinely attentive rather than merely efficient. The central location made Verbier easy to navigate. We could walk along the main street to restaurants and toward the Médran lifts, and the hotel also seemed able to help with local transportation when needed. The team gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation and consistently made the experience feel effortless. Hotel Vanessa offered comfort, accessibility, and genuine hospitality in a destination where prices can become extreme, and its standout service played a major role in making me love Swiss skiing.

This hotel is right next to the station just a few steps walk after getting off the bus so really convenient. Standard rooms very small with tiny windows. Too soft bed. Overall a good location if you want to be next to the bus station and it's just a 15 min walk to town center.

There are some minor maintenance issues with the place like a light that doesn't work and the kitchen faucet's adjustors being broken which means you have multiples streams of water shooting all over the place which makes it difficult to, say, fill a water bottle. It's worth noting that I came during May which is the off season in Switzerland so that might explain the maintenance issues.  Then again, they can certainly make a killing with this place during the high season if they fixed some of the aforementioned maintenance issues.
