Positives- Location is literally in the town center. Nearly all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Free parking. Decent size breakfast buffet. Good coffee (despite being from a machine). Beds were comfy. Room and bathroom were super clean. Reasonable price. They have a spa. TV worked great. Our room had a little balcony overlooking a square and a small view of the mountains.
Negatives- Location is literally in the town center so it's very loud. Traffic noise, people talking, kids playing, trucks. It also means you can't actually park at the hotel because the streets are limited traffic zones. It was confusing to check in, because we didn't know ahead of time. There were two traffic cops that stopped us but let us go. After you check in you have three different free public parking lots that are all 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. The pillows were lumpy (in my opinion). The bathroom while beautiful and clean was very very cramped. The breakfast quality of food was very disappointing. As like most mountain hotels the spa is only open 2-7pm. So if you're only staying one night you have to plan check in a little early if you want to enjoy it. The hotel is very family friendly. The walls are a bit thin so if the traffic doesn't wake you, the other guests will.
All in all I don't actively plan on staying here again but I also won't be upset if I end up here for lack of better choices/prices. The owner was so nice I feel a little bad only putting three stars! read more
