It was immaculate and looked even better in person than in the photos. Beds were comfortable and the rooms, quiet. Claudia, the invariably cheerful manager, was helpful and efficient with all requests. In the month's running up to our stay, she quickly made changes based upon our scheduling needs. Ample balconies allow you harbor views, including of the old fort. The hotel's outdoor patio gets you close to the water. Breakfasts were wonderful, too, with lots of choices and a cheerful barista who made coffees to order. Castelmare di Golfo has transformed itself into a destination...and remains close to dozens of interested sites and towns.
