The rooms are small and sound proof, with a full bathtub (unusual these days!) and very comfortable sheets and pillows. Breakfast is lovely, with a full array of deli meats, breads, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, vegetables and fruit. There is always someone at the front desk, and in our experience all the employees spoke both German and English.

The lobby is stunning and the room, was comfortable and clean. I love the way that the electricity only comes on in the room if you insert your room key into the device by the door. Keeps you from accidentally leaving lights or the tv on when you are not there. The room was small, but the bed was comfy and the view was sweet! We were right across from a mall and a busy road, but it was quiet. We did not stay for breakfast, but it looked nice. The front desk personnel spoke fluent English - which was nice as our newly "learned" German was apparently terrible over there. The price was very reasonable.

It's around a 15 minute walk from the station to the hotel. Of all the locations I've been to, I think this one has a better lobby and bar. With other hotels and the convention center nearby, it's really easy to call a taxi or car service and the front desk staff is more than happy to help. I noticed that this latter service is much more obvious in this location compared to others. The customer service is incredible; five-star treatment. The staff are fluent in English, which is of great help. They've helped me find a nearby shoe repair shop along with the usual tourist recommendations of restaurants and sights. An added benefit is the Skyline Plaza right across the street, which is incredibly convenient. It's a good mall that even includes a Chipotle if you want a little taste of home (assuming you're also from the US).

At check-in I had to wait in the heat for 15 mins because the reception wasn't staffed. After inspecting the room, I asked for an extra pillow since theirs were paper-thin. Got nothing. The fridge didn't work and when I tried to see if it's a power/connection problem, I realised that the central heating was on and on full power - on the hottest day of the year (37C). Cherry on top: the air conditioning stopped working in the evening. I reported it to the reception (who had very poor English skills) where they said it's broken in my room. No offer of a solution, nothing. A terrible stay throughout.

I loved this little hotel near the train station because it is clean, affordable and most of all, the service is great for short stays. I booked a single room for an early morning train from Frankfurt to Paris, and the staff were able to answer my questions via email and phone before arrival. The single room was small, but I would say the space was very well managed and thoughtfully laid out for one person. I loved the fridge because it was really cold compared to some mini fridges in Europe. The rooms have TV and, most of all, the hotel is spotless. I was impressed with how clean the hotel was, and the WiFi was the fastest I had in all of Germany. I was able to do Zoom calls easily without interruption, which made it especially convenient for business travel. Overall, the hotel is perfect for a short, efficient stay near the station.

Booked our room a month in advance for a three night stay. We went to reception to request the non smoking room, and we found that not only did they not give us the non smoking room, but they didn't give us the 'superior room' that we prepaid extra for in advance. They had given us a standard double room with smoking. We paid $240 per night for a room that's currently on offer on Expedia for $100 next week. Granted they are now busy this week, but how sad is this to substitute a lesser room for the better rom we booked and paid for well in advance? We were told they had a non smoking superior room, available but it was a triple not the double that we booked. We went back up to retrieve our luggage, when we got back downstairs two minutes later, that non smoking superior room wasn't available and we were told the hotel was now completely booked. We were told that non smoking is just a request and they did not have to honor it. We were told this smoking standard room was all they had available. This is not even poor, it's ludicrous to expect that from a four star rated property. We would have chosen another Expedia property if we'd have known that up front. After telling the manager we were going to call Expedia to complain and request a refund and change of hotel, he agreed to give us the non smoking superior room triple for one night and move us to a different superior double room that would be available for the remainder of our stay. The hotel is in a good location to the train station and fifteen minutes walk to the convention center. It's clean and contemporary. The breakfast area is nicely done. We did finally get the non-smoking room, but not without begging. Minus a star for the begging. No guest should have to beg for what they paid for. The manager was accommodating. Would I recommend it? Yes.

I like these smaller scale boutique hotels. The service is more personalized, I was greeted with a personalized note in my room when I checked in. The staff always greeted you when you come back or leave the hotel. The hotel is also located about five/six blocks from the Frankfurt messe tradeshow halls. Also convenient to other tourist locations around the city.
