We stayed here just one night and I wish we could have stayed longer because the hotel is gorgeous and I loved our large room, which was located on the second floor off of the lobby.
Everything was great and I particularly enjoyed the pool area. We arrived to the hotel late in the afternoon and we were welcomed with delicious mock cocktails. We were exhausted after spending the day walking around in the heat and so we immediately changed into our bathing suits and headed to the pool. I stayed pool side for almost three hours and enjoyed every minute, fortunately the chairs covered by a large umbrella.
The only major caveat is that our water wouldn't warm up and we had to suffer two cold showers. The nice host at the front counter told us to wait ten minutes for the water to warm up, but even after waiting the water was lukewarm at best. My partner's mom and brother's room did offer warm water and their's was located outside of the lobby.
Another not-so-perfect aspect was the free breakfast offered in the hotel. The restaurant is very pretty, but there was just one waiter and several full tables. Hotel guests can choose from a couple different combinations, most of which are supposed to come with juice, fruit, and coffee. We never got our juice and the others at our table didn't get juice or fruit. Also, I was served the wrong omelette twice before the kitchen finally got it right.
I'd definitely stay here again and I'd recommend it for others, but if you're staying longer than one night, I suggest checking out the shower right away and letting the staff know if warm water isn't available. As for the breakfast, I recommend going early so as to allow extra time for any hiccups that may occur. read more
