My wife and I spent five days at the Hotel Giulietta and Romeo in Verona recently. We were very…read morepleased and highly recommended this hotel. Its location could not be better as it is located in the middle of the historic district and literally a few steps from the Arena. There are many trendy shops and restaurants of all types nearby and you are in easy walking distance of most of the sights of Verona. Traffic is highly restricted in the historic district so there isn't any street noise and with the windows shut the room was very quiet. We had one of the rooms with a balcony which was very nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Our room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The breakfast is good but not spectacular. All of the staff however have been outstanding. They are friendly and helpful and have made our stay a real pleasure. Verona is a low key city compared to Rome and Florence but has excellent sights, isn't touristy, isn't crowded (at least October) and we have eaten better here than any other place in Italy. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Giulietta e Romeo.

Very helpful and courteous front desk. As a member of Leading Hotels of the World I received a complimentary upgrade at check in. Very nicely appointed room with a nice walk in rain shower. Excellent breakfast buffet and gorgeous rooftop restaurant / bar. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of the city…read more A few highlights: The hotel is stunning, with high ceilings and art everywhere you look. The rooftop has a great view. You get a lot of nice snacks for free with any drinks. Even though it's right in old town, it's not too inaccessible for taxis and cars. The only minor nitpicks: The bed sheets were surprisingly stiff. I do think the breakfast could be a bit better (the a la carte items should probably be free)

Very attentive to every need. Beautiful seating areas throughout the main floor. Quaint bar area and very - very nice breakfast room with great food and, again, incredible service. The rooms are spacious and quite unique. The location is perfect, just outside Piazza Erbe and close to so many restaurants. Also walking distance to other piazzas - large and small. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the beautiful city of Verona.
