In the last several days my adult daughters and I have stayed in 8 different hotels in Italy and Ireland. Hotel Bellerive located in Salo along the shores of Lake Garda has been by far our favorite. The customer service was exemplary and started in the parking lot where we were greeted by a hotel staff member who promptly sent a bellman to get the luggage from our car. The exemplary customer service was consistent throughout our stay and continued until our luggage was loaded back into our car. The hotel is light and airy and is located in the most perfect location--within walking distance to the promenade and beaches. The breakfast is outstanding. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent and is one of few that we found to have good vegan options for my daughter. We now find ourselves telling one another that we wish we were back at the Hotel Bellerive. read more

Bellerive wrote the book on service and hospitality. The rooms are fresh with crisp, clean sheets on the beds. The bar and restaurant are open and airy served by a cheerful, doting staff. Chef Nicola Forti of 100KM is exceptional - he and his team prepared an exquisite aperitivo and an incredible 5-course meal for our 70-person rehearsal dinner.
