With 5 months notice and a note from our doctor, this Marriott hotel has refused to issue a refund, allow us to change our dates, or offer credits to stay at one of their hotels at a different date. Every other hotel in the area has a different policy. I would recommend staying at any one of them instead.

Marriot Platium member can cancel before midnight of the arrival date with no cancellation charge but this hotel charged me 440 euro as penalty. I have been emailing back and forth with them over a week and they kept insisting on their own rules ask if they are a rouge Marriott. I have been a Marriott and SPG Platium/Ambassador for many years and spend hundreds nights at Marriott/SPG properties in US and International. This is my first time and surprised a member hotel can be run like this. Luckily Marriot Customer Care assured me to escalate and take care of this matter.

The hotel it's self is nice and although the beds aren't the most comfortable, they are definitely sufficient. The location is prime and if you are lucky enough to spend even one night in Pamplona, I would recommend this place. Several restaurants onsite and the breakfast is worth the extra money

Maybe the worst part was the bed: the pillows were two flat. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast: fresh and healthy stuff was abundant. In terms of location, the hotel is perfectly located if you want to visit the University, but may be a little far from the city center (20 mins walk). Wi-fi worked well. Overall, pretty good experience!
