Exceptional hotel right in the heart of the old section of Pamplona. What can be said of a hotel…read morethat is one block away from the streets where the running of the bulls takes place for the festival of San Fermin. Our room was streetside and except for listening to Saturday night (Sunday morning) revelers at 4 am singing in the streets on their way back from the local bars, it was a great room. Nice beds. Good bathroom. Super clean and well maintained. We stole this place for about $60. Public parking underground just a few hundred feet away. The chef in the restaurant is very talented. His dinners were spectacularly delicious. We had a family dinner event at the hotel where 50 people got together. Each dish was perfectly prepared and plated. We had five different courses brought to the tables, each one was more delicious than the previous. Normally in these types of banquet meals there are lots of bad dishes. Most of what was served we had experienced somewhere else in Spain, but these were better than all of our previous experiences. Each person was able to choose their main entrée and my duck confit was heavenly. Clearly, the second best dish I have eaten in the country, which covers a lot of meals over the years. The sommelier was right there with us helping us select the right wines for each course. At the end, he gave us a beautiful Merlot from Navarra for our room and it was awesome. If there was a way to put double the number of stars for this hotel and restaurant, I would have done it. If you don't stay here at least get a dinner or afternoon lunch here. Highly recommended.

When the time finally came, we checked in and service has been top notch. The hotel is very nice, modern, and clean. It's located conveniently close to the San Fermin activities but not so close that you're overwhelmed. I pre-paid for breakfast which is definitely the way to go as finding food during the festival can be hit or miss. I was having difficulty receiving tickets I had ordered and Martha at the front desk went out of her way, making phone calls on my behalf. She ultimately received my tickets electronically and printed them up for me. When my event came, the ballroom (Salon Belagua) was elegantly decorated. A young gentlemen (his name escapes me) prepped everything and was joined by Mila and Kevin as my guests arrived. Several courses of delicious food and wine kept coming until we just couldn't eat anymore. Everything was amazing! And if this wasn't enough, my wife had a virtual meeting during our sand needed good wifi signal, better than what was available in the room. Technician Victor met with her and tested signal on different networks in different parts of the hotel. He ultimately set her up with a table next to a wifi antenna inside an empty ballroom. Talk about service! If I return to the San Fermin Festival, or the Pamplona area in general, I will definitely stay here again.

We drove a car and the staff communicated to us prior to arrival about driving in the square which if they had not I would have questioned how to get there. I loved her response to me on the car, she said "forget about the car we will take care of it" , Perfect! The city was great and at the front desk then nice lady gave us a map and spent about 10minutes walking us through all the things to see and routes to take, awesome! We had a super day. Hotel staff the entire time was just awesome and the room was perfect! I am going back for sure and stay again at this hotel!

The two guys at the desk couldn't have been nicer, and even loaned us a phone charger. The room was surprisingly spacious and nicely styled, equipped with essentials proportionate to the price. But the skylight in the bathroom was left open with no discernible way of closing it aaaand... when we woke up in the morning, we discovered that under my husband's pillow was an irrefutable small dried puddle of blood. Not enough for a murder or anything. Probably just a nosebleed. So I don't think anyone died on that bed, unless they were a hemophiliac. Would've been a bigger puddle then I suppose. These are things one shouldn't have to ponder from a hotel stay, I think. I mean...just...yikes. Walking/fleeing distance to the bus station though!
