Our room was clean, nice and comfortable. Beautiful and modern bathroom. The only possible complaint I can imagine is "low ceiling" in the room, but isn't that part of the charm of staying in an historical building? Thus, zero complaints!

And this hotel is the perfect home base to check out Stralsund, and even on to Rügen and/or Hiddensee. My room was small but I'm small, too, and that's fine with me. The staff were super friendly. I didn't get the breakfast because there were so many restaurants and coffee shops close by. The Ozeaneum is worth visiting, a short walk away, and the whole Hafen area is gorgeous. Of course the town is awesome, too. All very walkable and easy to visit. They had free wifi - I LOVE FREE WIFI! And the price could not be beat. I would definitely stay here again! Great hotel!

Turned out they had double-booked the room and for some reason that didn't show up in their booking system. We never did get any proper explanation or apology from the staff and obviously a hotel where something like this can even happen is not a place I can recommend. The rather expensive hotel itself is nice enough and so are the rooms, but for above reasons I would never ever stay here again.

Für unsere Raucher haben wir eine Raucherlounge vor unserem Haupteingang.
