Sitting on the balcony, right on the lake, with a glass of wine. I told my husband that I never wanted to leave! We also had dinner at their lakefront outdoor dining area and it was fantastic! I had the trout fillet with a lemon sauce that was out of this world. It was probably swimming in the lake one hour before I ordered it. Seriously, one of the best pieces of fish I ever had. It came with baby potatoes that were cooked with butter and parsley. The people there are wonderful and very helpful, they don't provide refrigerators in the rooms, but when I brought a bottle of wine from the supermarket back to the kitchen, they were happy to chill it for us in the refrigerator downstairs. If you ever get to visit this wonderful place, do stay or have a meal there, it is really special.

We initially chose to sit closest to the lake before the bees starting bothering us. The service was pretty quick and they were cash only. The food was delicious after a day of hiking. The clear soup with the pancake was sooooo tasty! For dinner I had the Gorgonzola chicken wrapped in bacon served with noodles. It tasted great!! My friend was not as hungry and went for the smaller option/kinder turkey schnitzel. It was actually pretty large and came with fries! If we had had more time before making the ferry it would have been a great spot to just hang out and grab some beers as well.

The cosy farmer's cottage built right into the lobby gives a special atmosphere. The rooms we got are really small but - again - nicely furnished (old wood used as decoration) and well maintained. But too small for 5*. Basic WLAN is free - more speed is costly. I cannot comment on the restaurant's quality yet - dinner will be served later. One thing is really unacceptable: no ventilation on the toilet. €240 per room incl. breakfast and dinner is "steep" ... I will comment on the restaurant separately.
