I stayed in September 2017. The hotel is located 2 blocks from the main street all of the public transportation. Everything you want to visit is extremely easy to get to using great public transportation - or just walking. Because of the way Prague streets are laid out, it's a little difficult finding the hotel. I walked around for maybe 20 minutes - once walking right by! There is only one small sign on the front so even if you are looking at it from the side, you wouldn't know it's there.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are professional and helpful (thanks to Martina for the television help!!). The breakfast was very good. It had everything - fruit and yogurt bar, pastry bar, assorted cereals, eggs, sausages, crepes and jam, cappuccino machine, etc. They also have an open 5-7 pm wine, coffee, pastry happy hour. Along the walls on each floor are framed posters of famous Czechs, Germans and Austrians with short bios so you get a little history education as you walk around. The courtyard has a huge OLD tree which is just lovely. But that's also the smoking area - yuck.
One note - the rooms are SMALL with VERY limited storage area. If you were here for a weekend, it would be perfect. But I stayed for six days so it was a bit of a pain. The bathroom is also SMALL with almost no counter space. Again - good for a w/end, but not a long stay.
Again, the hotel is very clean, the staff is very helpful, it's in a great location and the breakfast was really good. read more
