I've been coming to Paddle Board Newport Beach for several years now and I've never been…read moredisappointed. The location is perfect, it's right by the bay and they always have kayaks and paddleboards ready for you by the water. Parking isn't ideal (it's Newport Beach, so this is expected) so be prepared to pay and park. I love how smooth and easy booking and reservations are. You book online through their website and it's always simple, straightforward, and easy to do. You can add things like the waterproof phone things (or add when you get there in person). They also send your waivers and such ahead of time so you can sign them ahead of time so that when you get to the location, you literally just get on the kayak/paddleboard and go. The workers here are always really chill, nice, and welcoming. They offer amenities like the waterproof necklaces you can wear to bring your phones along (can confirm - they work). They're not super strict on time, and I like the added hose they have outside their building that you can use to hose down the sand and such if needed. Just be aware that they don't offer much by way of instructions so if you're a first-timer, watch a video or two ahead of time. I do think it's a little intuitive so I wouldn't worry too much. Life vests are also provided!
